ESUMC Worship Services in Holy Week and Easter

You are welcome to join us for worship during Holy Week and the start of the Easter season. Our services of worship begin at 11:15, unless otherwise noted.

29 March, Palm Sunday. The children of ESUMC will open the service with the procession of the palms, and will perform special music in the service.

2 April, Maundy Thursday, with footwashing and Holy Communion, starting at 18:30.

3 April, Good Friday:

• 12:30 - An ecumenical service of worship, hosted by Christ Church Anglican, Jaurèsgasse 12, 1030 Wien;
• 17:30 - A service of prayer and repentance at ESUMC.

4 April, Holy Saturday service of the procession of the holy fire into the sanctuary (hosted by the Fünfhaus Gemeinde) at 20:00;

5 April, Easter Sunday service of resurrection and Holy Communion.

12 April, Second Sunday of Easter, annual Joint Worship service with the German-speaking Fünfhaus Gemeinde, starting at 10:30.

19 April, Third Sunday of Easter, Mission Sunday, with ESUMC Missions Coordinator Barbara Gibson giving the message.

26 April, Fourth Sunday of Easter, Music Sunday, as we celebrate the resurrection by making a joyful noise, on the theme "The Power of Prayer."
