Support the Renovation of our Sanctuary

We give thanks to God that the renovation of our sanctuary is now nearly complete. While there are still some small projects to finish up, the worship space is now open, and we gather with joy and thanksgiving to celebrate and praise our God.

As I have previously shared with you, the UMC in Austria property management office has overseen the renovation project, and has funded the great majority of costs. However, some additional improvements were made that were not directly related to the necessary repair work. These improvements include:

the laying of new cables to support enhanced audio, video, livestream, and internet capabilities;
the purchase of new cameras with greater zoom and sharper focus;
the establishment of a new technology hub at the rear of the sanctuary;
the moving, cleaning, and tuning of our piano;
the repair of the electric motors of the sanctuary windows.

To help pay for these additional repairs, in worship on Sunday 25 May we will take up a special offering in support of these improvements. Additionally, throughout June we will highlight this giving opportunity and encourage your donations.

As we share our worship space with the Fünfhaus Gemeinde, our sister congregation will also be raising funds in support of these important enhancements.
