Dear ESUMC members and friends,

May God’s blessings and joy be upon you this new day!

As we continue in our Lenten journey, we give thanks for the opportunity to worship as a community: to hear the word of God, to offer our repentance, and to receive the promise of salvation.

Please join us for worship this Sunday! Once again, this Sunday 21 March the doors of the sanctuary will be open for worship for up to 50 persons. The service shall begin at 11:15, and as usual shall also be streamed via Zoom.

For those who may come to the sanctuary on Sunday, may I remind you of the current worship guidelines: contact details must be provided, FFP-2 masks must be worn at all times, social distance (two meters from non-household members) must be maintained, and there shall be no congregational singing.

And please let us take responsibility for one another’s health and well being. If you have a fever, feel sick, or show any symptoms of illness, please do not come to the sanctuary for worship.

Every Sunday, our Covid Prevention representatives will be on hand to assist the congregation to follow the requirements associated with in-person worship. If you have any questions or concerns, please be in touch with the Worship Committee or me.

We thank you for your faithful participation in our ministry, and we look forward to having you join us Sunday for worship, either in the sanctuary or at home.

Yours in Christ,
Pastor John
